A product of the FlipX-Advanced series, the FLX-A-DAM-X8 is OPTEX's latest class 3 indoor sensor with dual microwave and PIR technology and anti-masking. It also features the unique, rotatable OPTEX lens for wide and narrow detection in just one sensor. Designed for high security sites, the FLX-A-DAM-X8 features the highest detection confidence and advanced sensitivity settings for greater precision and reliability.

With 80 detection zones and a longer detection range (up to 24 meters), the detector is the ideal solution for a variety of high security indoor applications. The Advanced models feature double shielding to filter light interference and RFI. The FLX-A-DAM-X8 is a dual-tech sensor with microwave and PIR detection and full anti-mask capabilities. The dual technology gives the detector additional reliability and precision as the alarm is only activated when both the microwave and infrared layers are triggered.

Designed with high security applications in mind, the detector features infrared anti-mask protection that generates a jamming signal when the detector is covered. It has two anti-masking functions, one on the surface of the lens and one on the microwave. Higher sensitivity setting that improves detection performance. Typically, these sensors are only available with low, medium, or high sensitivity. However, for high-risk locations, we have included a “Super High Sensitivity” feature on this product.
