Sr Outside Sales Representative
Drive and manage customer relationship to achieve, with the support of other internal functions, the maximum growth potential with both the existing customer portfolio and new ones.
Own and drive internally the new business opportunities, from early stages of gathering technical specification till getting the final order. Including coordination with support internal functions. (Technical department, Product marketing, etc)
Represents the customers’ needs and requirements within the Resideo organization. Act as the customer’s representative internally in Resideo while interacting with different functions.
Primary customer interface responsible for the development of business, and management of relationships with the customers which are responsible for.
Understanding of the customers’ business, key drivers, and organization, and understanding of the value that Resideo brings to the customer to deliver the given growth targets.
Business partner to the customer, defines a firewall to prevent competitors to gain share in against Resideo, maximizes the business potential of their customers, and acts as the primary supplier interface for all products, solutions and services with this customer.
Deliver the defined Annual Operating Plan (AOP) corresponding to the given set of customers. Which included several aspects of the business development; sales growth, profitability, customer base expansion, etc.
Customer Relationships and Account Development
Growth by identifying new business opportunities both with the current customer based as well as with potential new ones.
Customer specific development and growth plans and annual customer facing business reviews.
Provide regular reports of business and customer performance, new business potential identification and actual results vs. the defined plan (AOP).
Minimum 2 years experience in sales role, ideally from same or similar industry (electronics, IT, security products, access control, cameras, fire detection)
Fluency in English, French and Dutch
PC literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (mainly excel and outlook)
Creative and able to understand customer needs
Demonstrates a high drive and is focused on creating results. Good at executing.
Ability to travel within the region, up to 80% of work time.
Excellent communications and presentations skills
Good understanding of how to manage distributor relationships to ensure a profitable collaboration
